The key as we already mentioned is a good balance and making sure that there is always something new happening to keep the listener interested.Īlthough not all songs follow the Verse – Chorus approach, it is fair to say that a majority of pop songs still use some variations of this form. There are many ways to put sections together and though it is useful to have a rough idea which form you will use when you put your chord sequence together, you may well will still need to tweak your final structure as the song progresses.
